From Friday July 1, 2022 we're moving accounts that were created before April 20, 2022 to our updated pricing model.
Under the updated pricing model, we've grouped Surveys and Feedback into a separate product called Ask that’s priced based on the number of responses you want to collect across Surveys and Feedback. Heatmaps and Recordings will be grouped into a separate product called Observe and will still be priced based on the number of daily sessions.
Both products, Observe and Ask, will have the Basic (free), Plus, Business, and Scale plans available, and the selected plan can be different for each product.
See the Updating our pricing model blog post for all the details on this update.
Our Omniconvert integration supports Hotjar Recordings. The integration allows you to connect your Omniconvert A/B test experiments to your Hotjar account.
In order to use this integration, you will need an active Hotjar and Omnicovert account as well as your Hotjar site being on either our Observe Business or Observe Scale plans.
Turning on the integration
Navigate to your Omniconvert website menu and click on Integrations.
Activate the connection with Hotjar and click Save to finish.
Viewing your Recordings in Hotjar
An Observe Business or Observe Scale plan is required for applying Events to Recordings with Omniconvert.
Omniconvert's Hotjar's integration requires access to Hotjar Events. Learn more about what features are included in each of our plans on the Hotjar pricing page.
Enable the integration in Omniconvert and sign in to Hotjar
Once you have enabled the integration in Omniconvert and started the experiment, sign-in to your Hotjar account.
Select the Recordings dashboard.
Filter Recordings based on Events.
Select the type of Omniconvert tag you wish to filter by within your Hotjar Events filter. Omniconvert allows you to filter by experiment id, experiment name, variation id, or variation name.
Once the event is selected, your Omnnicovert recordings should show within your Recordings dashboard as long as Hotjar was running successfully when those sessions occurred.
