You can add an unlimited number of Sites to your Account as long as they are owned by you or your Organization. Each Site will have its own Observe plan and Ask plan, which are charged on a per site basis. Check out our Plans and Pricing page to learn more!
Go to your Sites and Organizations page.
Click on New Site.
Enter the Website URL, select the Site Type, then select the Site Owner as an existing or a new Organization.
Click Add Site.
Every Site added in Hotjar comes with its own unique Tracking Code.
To track Sites separately in Hotjar, you need to make sure to install the correct Tracking Code provided for each Site. If you wish to record users navigating across multiple sub-domains, you need to install the same Tracking Code on all these sub-domains. You can read more information here about How to Track Multiple Subdomains.
How to create your own Account, separate from an existing Hotjar Account
The email address you've registered with Hotjar can only be the Account Owner for one Hotjar Account.
If you're already an Account Owner and would like another Account, you can sign up for Hotjar again using a different email address.
If you're already a team member on a Hotjar Account and you'd like to add Sites and Organizations to your own, separate Account, reach out to Support and we can update your profile. You'll then be able to manage plans and payment for Sites you've added to your own Account. You'll still have the same permissions for your existing Organizations.
