Throughout January 2023, our team is updating our internal billing system. As a result, some content in this article may be out of date or appear differently than shown here. Only the Account Owner can access billing information and invoices via Hotjar
To see who the Account Owner is, visit the Team page while logged into Hotjar.
Finding your invoices
You can find your invoices at https://insights.hotjar.com/settings/invoices.
If multiple people need to receive a billing notification when the Account is charged, you can add their email address on the right-hand side of the page.
In the box Billing Notifications, click the Update Email Addresses button to add an additional email address.
Team members that receive a billing notification will only receive an email. They will not be given access to the Invoice page.
Account Owners editing their email should also update Billing notification recipients
Account Owners should add their new email address to the list of Billing notification recipients on their Invoices page to continue receiving invoices. You can find the steps for doing this in our How to Find and Download Your Invoices article.
Downloading your invoices
Select Download.
A new window will open where you can download the PDF directly to your computer.
Download the invoice PDF.
Some team members may experience issues downloading invoices when running certain browser extensions
Extensions that block advertisements, commonly Adblock or Ghostery are the main offenders. Adding Hotjar.com to your extension's allow list or accessing invoices from an Incognito window should resolve the issue.
