What are Agency billing options?
There are two ways agencies can arrange billing for a client site:
- Ask your client to create their own Hotjar account
By creating their own account, your client will manage payments and any downgrades/upgrades made to their subscription. Your client can give you access to their site by adding you to an Organization and apply different user permission levels within this Organization. When your client’s site is within their own Hotjar account, they cannot benefit from any discounts that Agencies might receive.
- Add your client’s site to your Hotjar Agency account
Setting up your client’s site as a separate Organization inside your Agency account means that you will manage payment and any downgrades/upgrades made to their subscription, which will be included in your total agency invoice. You can give your client access by adding them to the Organization that contains their site and applying different user permissions within this Organization. When adding your client’s site to your account, agency discounts might apply based on when you became a paying customer of Hotjar.
Each Site benefits from a 10% discount if two or more Sites are subscribed to a Business plan.
How much does a Hotjar Agency account cost?
The total price for an Agency account can be calculated by summing the price of each individual plan for your client's Sites. If you have two or more Sites on a Business plan, then you can apply a 10% discount to this number to estimate your final bill. Check out Hotjar Plans for more information on which plan best suits your client's site and our Pricing page for the prices of each plan.
After setting up a Hotjar Agency account, you will automatically receive the Agency discount when you add and pay for client Organizations on your account.
