As an account owner, you can transfer ownership of the Hotjar account to an associate or a client. This is most often done in circumstances such as the end of a business relationship with a client or the current account owner leaving a company. If the user you wish to transfer ownership to already owns an account, these accounts will be merged.
This ownership change is for the entire account, not just organizations.

You can make the changes directly from your Hotjar Dashboard:
Go to hotjar.com
First, go to your Preferences under settings
Your site settings can be found here.
Select Change Account Owner
A window will be displayed where you can add the new account owner.
You will then be asked to submit your password and agree to the new terms.
Ownership can only be given to users who already have admin access to at least one Organization within the account. If the new owner is already the admin of another account, the accounts will be merged.
