Recording comments allow you to jot down any thoughts or observations, as you review Recordings of your visitors within Hotjar. Keep track of patterns, issues, and errors. All team members that have access to the site will be able to see the comments.
This feature is only available on the Plus and Business plan
Only the Account Owner will be able to upgrade your plan in order to enable this Recording option.
Play the Recording.
Click the Actions tab at the top right of the play viewer.
Start typing your comment and hit enter to save.
All comments taken during playback of a Recording are also visible on the playback timeline. Click on an existing comment in the timeline or in the comments list to jump directly to that point in the Recording.
Filtering by Recordings that contain comments
Currently, it is not possible to filter recordings to view only those with comments. However, this is something we're exploring and may be available in the future.
