How to create a Jira issue from Recordings
Open a recording.
When you open a recording, you can watch it in the Recordings Player.
Click Share.
Click Create a Jira issue.
Check sharing permissions
If the team members that you want to share the recording with don't have a Hotjar account, make sure to choose Anyone with this link can view instead of Only team members on Hotjar can view. You can also invite your team members to Hotjar.
If you're using this integration for the first time, you'll be redirected to the Jira authorization screen. Click Accept to connect your Jira account with Hotjar.
Fill in the details according to your Jira configuration and click Create Jira issue.
With this integration, you can create any type of Jira issue defined in your project except for a Subtask.
How to create a Jira issue from Console errors
Open a recording that contains Console errors.
Hotjar's console tracking feature allows you to view Console errors alongside a recording playback. The best way to find recordings that contain Console errors is to filter your recordings using the Error filter.
Click Create a Jira issue.
If you're using this integration for the first time, you'll be redirected to the Jira authorization screen. Click Accept to connect your Jira account with Hotjar.
Fill in the details according to your Jira configuration and click Create Jira issue.
