Before you delete your account, we suggest checking to make sure you've got no ongoing projects or upcoming interviews.

How to delete your researcher account

From here, click your profile image and select Profile.

Delete your account.

Scroll down, click the Delete Your Hotjar Account button, and fill out the information in the pop-up window.

Scroll down and click Delete account.

Type 'delete' in the box and click Permanently delete

In these situations, Support will need to help delete your account:

You have a legacy Engage account from before November 2022 (previously PingPong).
You want to delete just your Engage account, not Hotjar Ask or Observe.

To do this, you can use the chat widget in the bottom right-hand corner of the page to contact Support.
