How to delete your researcher account
Log in to Hotjar Insights and go to your profile.
From here, click your profile image and select Profile.
Delete your account.
Scroll down, click the Delete Your Hotjar Account button, and fill out the information in the pop-up window.
How to delete your participant (tester) account
Log in to your Engage account and go to your profile.
Scroll down and click Delete account.
Type 'delete' in the box and click Permanently delete
When to contact Support
In these situations, Support will need to help delete your account:
- You have a legacy Engage account from before November 2022 (previously PingPong).
- You want to delete just your Engage account, not Hotjar Ask or Observe.
To do this, you can use the chat widget in the bottom right-hand corner of the page to contact Support.
