Not receiving your 'password reset' email?
Check your Spam folder for any emails that may have been trapped there. If your email address was set up by your company, like ours @hotjar.com, ask your IT department to whitelist emails coming from @hotjar.com.
Follow the steps below to reset your password:
Click on Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
Don't see the sign-in page?
If you're already logged in, the link above will take you to your Hotjar dashboard. Go to Settings > Logout in order to view the sign-in page again.
Type in the email address that you registered with.
Once you enter your email in the field, you will be shown the following message:
Check your inbox for further instructions.
Click on the unique link sent to your email.
Enter your new password in both password fields.
Criteria required for a Hotjar Password
Our passwords need to include: one lowercase character, one uppercase character, and 8 to 64 characters long.
Click the Change Password button to confirm the changes to your password.
