Though we have many Supported Languages available for use with our Feedback Widgets, only one language may be set per widget.
If your site is accessible in multiple languages, and you’d like your Hotjar Feedback Widgets to reflect the language of the page being viewed, you'll need to create a widget for each language you wish to display on your site. You do not need to create a new Hotjar site for each language, as these settings are only applied per widget.
Targeting your Feedback Widget on Sites with Language Specific URLs
If the URL is at all modified based on the language displayed, using our contains targeting rule will ensure that the poll appears on the exact page you'd like. See Page Targeting for Feedback Tools to learn more about this option.
Examples of URLs with language specific widgets:
www.site.com/en/ -> target 'contains' : 'en'
www.site.com/fr -> target 'contains' : 'fr'
