You can deactivate any Feedback feature by switching the status from "active" to "inactive" in the feature’s section of your Hotjar Dashboard.
For Incoming Feedback, this switch is at the top of the page. Click on the button with the checkmark to turn off the Incoming Feedback widget.
There is a delay between the Hotjar Dashboard and your live site
Removal of the Incoming Feedback widget will not occur immedietly. There will be about a 1 - 3 minute delay before the widget is turned off/on.
Keep in mind that setting up Incoming Feedback is part of the on-boarding process, so it is common a widget was created if the on-boarding prompts were clicked through.
