On 2018-11-27 at 10:43 CEST / 04:43 EST, our engineers identified an issue which was causing heatmap and recording data not to be collected or processed correctly.

The issue occurred because one of our datastores went down due to a memory issue.

This had no effect on visitors to your site.
What effect did this issue have on my data?
We were unable to collect recording and heatmap data for a period of about 30 minutes, unfortunately.
What are we doing to ensure it doesn’t happen again?
We have alerting in place for these kinds of issues, but in this case we failed to change who got these alerts when someone was out sick. We’ll be reviewing how we handle this process in future.
As regards what caused the memory problem, we’re going to investigate what we can do to prevent it happening again.
