On 13/12/2018 at 11:20 CET / 05:20 EST our engineers identified an issue which was causing the client script to not send data to our servers in a small number of cases. This affected 1% of active sites.
This issue began on 12 December 2018 12:00 CET / 06:00 EST and was fixed by 13 December 2018 14:30 CET / 08:30 EST.
Why did this issue occur?
This issue was the result of a change to our client script that was deployed 12/12/2018 and had an unforeseen side-effect.

What are we doing to ensure it doesn’t happen again?
Whilst we will continue to do our utmost to avoid similar issues from re-occurring in the future, we will also improve our processes around script monitoring to ensure issues are quickly detected and eliminated.
