On the 10th of September 2019 at 13:34 CEST / 07:34 EST, our engineers identified an issue which caused some customers to be charged twice when creating subscriptions, and some customers to have invoices showing incorrect amounts.
We have determined that this incident began to affect customers at 15:42 CEST / 09:42 EST on the 9th of September 2019.
We will be in contact with all affected customers as soon as possible.
Why did this issue occur?
This issue was caused by an inconsistent account state during payment processing which caused invoices to have the incorrect amount, and in some cases allowed for duplicate charges to be created.

We have put provisions in place to ensure a consistent state in an account while processing payment which prevents this situation from happening again.
