Ensure you receive notifications by allowing Hotjar's email addresses
All billing-related notifications will come from email@example.com and all tool-related notifications will come from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Feedback and Survey notifications
Email notifications can be enabled to alert you when there is a new Feedback widget or Survey response.
Go to Notifications in the View profile menu.
Choose the notifications you'd like to enable.
In addition to the Account Owner, billing notifications can be received by other team members by adding their email addresses on your Invoices page. The Account Owner can follow the steps below to set this up:
Click your profile image and select Billing. Then on the next page click Invoices.
This will take you to your Invoices page.
In the Billing and invoices made easy box, click Edit.
Enter the additional email addresses, then click Save.
Feedback widget responses via Slack
The Hotjar Slack integration can be enabled to send notifications to specified Slack channels when new Feedback widget responses are submitted.

The Slack integration is available on both the Observe and Ask Business and Scale plans
Hotjar's integration with Slack is available on both the Observe and Ask Business and Scale plans. If you're interested in upgrading, follow the steps in our guide How to Upgrade your Hotjar Plan.
To stop receiving marketing emails from Hotjar, you can click on the "unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of the email.
You can unsubscribe from a particular type of message, such as Production's Product Updates, or unsubscribe from all marketing messages using the second link.
