Notifications will not be available in early releases of Continuous Heatmaps
If you are on a Hotjar Business, Scale, or Plus plan, your Heatmaps are based on continuous capture by default and the functionality to set up notifications is not yet available. As we transition to Continuous Heatmaps, you will still have access to manual snapshot-based Heatmaps where notifications are still enabled.

Analytics and Feedback notifications
Email notifications can be enabled to alert you when there is a:
- Completed snapshot-based Heatmap
- New Incoming Feedback and Survey response
Go to Notifications in the Settings menu.
Choose the notifications you'd like to enable.
Hotjar will send billing notifications to the Account Owner when the Account has been charged. If other team members need to receive billing notifications, the Account Owner can add additional emails within Settings.
Only the Account Owner has access to the Invoice page to modify billing notifications.
To see who the Account Owner is, visit the Team page while logged into your Hotjar dashboard.
Click on Invoices in the Settings menu.
On the right-hand side of the page, under Billing notifications, click Update Email Addresses.
Add the additional email addresses here, separated by a comma.
Feedback responses via Slack
The Hotjar Slack integration can be enabled to send notifications to specified Slack channels when new Incoming Feedback responses are submitted.

The Slack integration is only available to Business plan customers
