From Friday July 1, 2022 we're moving accounts that were created before April 20, 2022 to our updated pricing model.
Under the updated pricing model, we've grouped Surveys and Feedback into a separate product called Ask that’s priced based on the number of responses you want to collect across Surveys and Feedback. Heatmaps and Recordings will be grouped into a separate product called Observe and will still be priced based on the number of daily sessions.
Both products, Observe and Ask, will have the Basic (free), Plus, Business, and Scale plans available, and the selected plan can be different for each product.

You can set up email notifications within Hotjar to let you know when specific events occur, such as a charge being applied to your Account, or a daily report of responses from a Survey.
Feedback and Survey notifications
Email notifications can be enabled to alert you when there is a new Feedback widget or Survey response.
Go to Notifications in the Settings menu.
Choose the notifications you'd like to enable.
If these checkboxes are enabled, you will receive email notifications.
Billing notifications
Hotjar will send billing notifications to the Account Owner when the Account has been charged. If other team members need to receive billing notifications, the Account Owner can add additional emails within Settings.
Only the Account Owner has access to the Invoice page to modify billing notifications.
To see who the Account Owner is, visit the Team page while logged into Hotjar.
Click on Invoices in the Settings menu.
On the right-hand side of the page, under Billing notifications, click Update Email Addresses.
Add the additional email addresses here, separated by a comma.
All email addresses listed will receive all future billing notifications starting on the next issued invoice.
Feedback widget responses via Slack
The Hotjar Slack integration can be enabled to send notifications to specified Slack channels when new Feedback widget responses are submitted.
